Genealogy

I've been interested in my family history for a number of years, a trait which itself might be genetically linked. I was lucky enough to be able to interview some of my family members before they died, enough at least to paint a basic portrait, and I've managed to dig up some more information using the Web as my primary tool.

On Ginny's side of the family, my father-in-law has been active in tracing back to the Revolutionary War and beyond, the Harvey family and its offshoots, as well as the Sanborn family.

(Jim is also very active in the Sons of the American Revolution, a patriotic organization with a genealogical twist.)

On the other side of the family, about my own namesakes, the Easts, I know only what my dad told me some years ago. His section of the family was in Rochester in the 1940s and moved to Cleveland in the 1950s. On my mother's side we have Schiffs and Kreckers - the Krecker side of the family especially has been exhaustively researched, not only by my own cousin but also at the Krecker Family Web Page. (My own line is through Ralph Augustus).

I'm also in search of information on the families of Lucullus Naudine Davis Mitchell and John Henry William Stambaugh, Beatrice Milligan and ________
